Program Notes

This piece was originally scored for Pierrot ensemble, as a cue to a short film where the main character experiences flashbacks and distortions of her memories as she ages. The musical material here follows the program of the short film and incorporates rapid shifts of color and varying sonic depth to exaggerate the aforementioned distortions.
